Bill Gates and Email

As we all know, Bill Gates really do suck - here is just another proof... A new clean install of Windows 2003 32bit standard, latest SP, fully updated, newly joined to a recently created AD domain in 2003 native mode. Newly installed Exchange 2003 Std server, SP2 installed, after reboot the event entry above shows up... So basically Microsoft still has not been able to figure out how error messages and API's beetween operating system and their own sofftware should work, perhaps even within the same software as well... Mother of a wireless goat!

Even web sites now agree that Internet Explorer 7 sucks worse than a frogfish.

Dry Humidity

This is from the manual of a brand new humidifier, it appears to have a very limited lifetime if you are going to use it, unless you live in a tent in the desert or something...

French Commerce

The only reason they where able to Trademark this was likely because those french people can't even spell right...
Contributed by Shawn, Quote:
Saw this store while in Las Vegas a few years ago. Man, the French can fcuk up anything, can't they?

A wet "Warning Sign"

Contribution by Shawn, quote:
I took this picture outside of a fast food restaurant while on our way to a TN/Bama football game in Oct 2004. The obvious part that strikes me the most is the "It's just water". In my opinion, this is there to warn me in case I see this big tank leaking in the parking lot or dripping all over my car while driving down the road, that it's "okay"...because it's just "water". I guess I would get excited if it said something like "Toxic Waste, Stay Back".

Windows 2003 Advanced Server Sucks Catastrophically!

I got this one when working on trying to get a vbscript on a website trying to initiate a mailmerge on the client pulling data from ODBC and template from the web, it comes up with the stupid bill gates "Please Select a Data Source" (odc) dialog, when I finally gave in to try make this work with Word-10 (XP/2002 wont work, works fine in Word 11/2003) I tried to create a datasource using the wizardz and crap. If I had a successful connection without selecting a DB, I got this Bill Gates message when selecting a DB... Anyway, yes, it is catastrophic I guess..

Compatible power

I suspect something got lost in translation here, a little 5-port StarTech $15 switch with external power supply, which has been compatible in all of them so far, aslo...

Please unscrew and throw away

I wonder if this label was made by someone expecting users to be idiots or if some idiots didn't understand that they had to remove this thumbscrew before/when removing the temporary cover inside this $1500 color laser before installing toners... It could lead to some idiot looking for the tiny bin (same size as this thumbscrew) that was supposed to come with the printer, or is it really that clear? Rotate counterclockwise and pull up while pushing the bin down.

The Finest Quality Thermo Cup

I don't have a picture of the cup this was in, probably from Walmart or Unimart or something, I am sure it is the finest quality cup ever, the bottom part is a classic sample of idiot labels...

Expert Translation

You have to click on this picture to read ALL the text on this box, the original box is inset but I cut the box apart for the picture so that you dont have to turn your monitor upside down to read them both.. It is obveious that this company did a serious job getting their products marketed in english speaking countries...

Contradictory food

Okay, thisone isnt really all that stupid, but, when I first saw these things together it really didnt make any sens and pretty idiotic to me; Lean Pockets, ok, Bacon egg and Cheese? yeah right.. Ok, light cheese, that helps a lot I am sure. And then on the back it shows a guy that lost 285 pound by eating these? And each one is tiny (That's why the beer bottle is in the picture to reference the size of the pocket in front), I can eat 4 of these and still not be all that full... So, well, it boils down to that slimmed guy didnt eat just this kind, and they really dont contain much bacon at all (any????) and they tast like crap, so its just like bad lean food should be I guess...

William Gates definition of trust

Got thisone myself with Windows XP SP2 and Mediaplayer 10, it had some MusicMatch stuff set up or whatever, and it looks like Bill Gates thinks that opening a trusted page is a big security risk?

Java Button?

Ok thisone isn't really a fit for this site, it is more amuzing than idiotic... This is NOT a Sun Microsystems keyboard AFAIK, I really don't know where it originates from, my mom's old Pentium-133 (or similar) had this keyboard with it. Would the LED have made more sense if it pointed to the "Break" button? :-)

...and yet another Dell...

Looks like the guys at Dell puts in a lot of thought and time when they create labels and documentation for $3K+ equipment :-)

Dell Equipment again...

Dell is actually the reason I registered this domain, the orange cable and this sticker on the power supply socket. You need to click on the picture and look at the yellow label in this one, can anyone find any reasonable explanation to why this sticker needs to cover the place you plug a standard power cord into?
And also, the note on which screw and nut goes in what hole is pretty silly, if you have a Dell PowerConnect 6024 (Layer 3 switch) like this and you dont understand that a square nut goes in a suqare hole you don't deserve to have this switch (which is awesome btw, $3K at the moment, redundant psu and fan).
